Jim Dandy Family Restaurant in Noblesville

Got sick from the food. The only thing different from anyone else had was the mashed potatoes and gravy. However I thinknitncould have been the broasted chicken.

Great food, need some better choices on hot bar. I was sick and one waitress made me chicken no grease ; since I couldn't eat what was in the house bar. Great little place to go. The other one we went to was a ways out but better; great food on the hotbar, good choices.

Service was good. Food seems to have gone downhill. Bland in flavor. It may be our last visit for awhile.

Worst experience I've ever had ! The server was awesome it was the lady behind in the kitchen who needs FIRED she was very rude we got there 25 minutes until close and I offered to go eat else where and the server assured me it was fine, well that's when the lady in the back started YELLING so loud everyone could hear it complaining because we were there which resulted in us leaving and going to Chick-fil-A where the service is good been to many different ones and this one was by far the worst eating experience I've ever encountered won't be back to that one ! And I will be calling whoever is in charge 😊

Friendly staff and reasonably priced. My bf loves this place and was super excited when we found it so close to our home. Will now be our weekend morning breakfast date place.

First timers, went in for breakfast buffet. Food was cold, scrambled eggs were runny, definately not worth $30 for two. Service wasnt that great either, with not many customers you shouldnt have to wait to have coffee refilled.

For being shorthanded they did a good job

Nice little restaurant in Noblesville, IN. I would have rated them a 5 stars but the food was lukewarm. It was clean, bathroom's were clean the employees were nice and friendly.

Typically go for the breakfast buffet on weekends. The food is nothing special but it's not bad either. For me it's a plus that they have so many options because my children always change their minds so they can go back for other options. I also like that you can order eggs other styles when you get the buffet. Also the staff is always very nice and helpful.

Nice clean place. Has that nostalgic feel too it. Service was awesome. And place is well kept. Nice salad bar and a hot buffet.

My parent's and I always enjoy going to Jim Dandy Restaurant in Noblesville. They always have good food. It is good home cooked food. The Staff is always friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

All in all, a pretty good place. Wait times are a little lengthy though, but nice people and a nice atmosphere!

It was decent but I ordered crispy bacon and it arrived floppy. I like all the fat cooked and don't care for the fat not to be fully cooked.

I only come for the breakfast bar. It’s so good. It was almost 1pm and it still took a good 20 minutes to get seated. It wouldn’t have been a visit to JD without two employees getting into a screaming match in the back.

Great buffet and the best fried Chicken in town. Reasonably priced.

Dinner here was wonderful. The buffet is definitely worth the cost.

I have always loved this place, even worked here at 16yrs old in 1973. Still have the old favorites & now a nice family restaurant.

No senior discounts. Cashier did not know anything about prices or offer to find out. Food quality not as good as it was in past visits.

Great service. Did not have hot buffet bar on sunday but salad bar was very good. The chicken noodle soup was fantastic. Fruit was very good. Hamburgets were a good size and tasted very good. Their onion rings were also nicely done. Just the right amount of breading and cooked to perfection. It is an older diner and shows its age. Bathrooms were not very clean. I would eat here again

Great small town business that has been here for years and years! Great comfort foods and large portions. A must have is the breaded tenderloin or the Jim Dandy burger!

Nice small town, family atmosphere. Staff was very nice. The food was good. The place could use a bit of a renovation though. But, overall, I'll definitely go back.

A great salad bar and fun had by all. The counter folk are my family away from home.

Love the food, great buffet! Only complaint is there is such a strong smell. I'm sure they want to make the place smell good, but it smells like bathroom cleaners. Not what you want to smell when you're eating. Change that and I'd give 5 stars!

Recently I went to this location. When I first came in I wasn't greeted, however once I sat myself down, I was greeted. I was told the buffet will open in 20 minutes. I decided to wait. I hadn't been to a Jim Dandy's location in many years. The fried chicken crispy, fresh, had a good taste, however it was extremely greasy and too much salt. The salsbury steak was lukewarm. the potato salad had a really off, not pleasant taste. The other parts of the salad bar were fresh. The apple butter was good with the rolls and shrimp. The green beans were decent. The buffet was pretty small when you consider the others. The staff were attentive for the most part. They need to lower the salt in their food and find other ways to cut the grease out. I don't see myself coming back anytime soon since I felt not good after I ate there.

This place is simply another kind of home cooking to me! JD and my family go back to the sixties when they had inside and outside curb dining! It was THE place to be with car loads of cruising HS students and short skirted, pretty HS girls on roller skates waitressing outside. Great food. Social distancing. Masks.

Great home style food. Friendly staff. Great place to meet friends and family. Or to take the kids. Pot roast was melt in your mouth tender! And they're known for their pies and desserts...eat it there or take a piece home.
